The Omega Speedmaster Speedsonic was launched in the early 1970s and hailed as the world’s first electronic chronometer chronograph. Powered by the calibre Esa 9210 (Omega 1255) Dubois-Depraz chronograph module, the Speedsonic F300 was an adaptation of the mosaba movement, which means “watch without balance”. These watches (unbeknownst to many) were also used by NASA in the Alaska Project. Reference 188.0002, diameter 44 x 44 mm.
